On November 28th, the Kalpavriksha Welfare Society (KWS) extended a financial contribution of ₹25,000/- to Mr. Manoj Rai, a resident of Soureni, Mirik.
Mr. Rai is currently fighting an incredibly difficult battle on two fronts. He has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour and is scheduled to undergo a critical operation at AIIMS Delhi this week (December 7th).
To compound this hardship, Mr. Rai’s family was a victim of the tragic landslides in Mirik on October 4th, which devastatingly washed away their home.
We hope this humble contribution aids in his treatment and recovery during this testing time. We earnestly request everyone to keep Mr. Rai and his family in your thoughts and prayers as he undergoes this life-saving surgery.
